It’s that time of year again to treat yourself with Duetto’s Fall ’17 release. We have some exciting new products up our sleeve coming in early 2018, but in the meantime we are focusing on developing great new features in the Duetto Data Platform, GameChanger, ScoreBoard and our Analytics Platform.
Our focus on integrations is unwavering as we continue to add new data partners to our platform. In the last few months we have integrated with Protel On-Premise, Protel Air, Amadeus, Maestro, MEWS and Pegasus CRS.
We’ve heard your feedback and have added some great enhancements to our ScoreBoard application, including the ability to create Custom Dashboards at Cross-Property level, with the flexibility to focus on a subset of hotels. Leverage visuals to identify patterns and trends quickly, so you know where to spend your time to make the biggest impact on your business.
We have also added Custom Comparisons to truly unlock the power of Report Builder with more flexibility and control. Revenue Managers need to be able to compare all different kinds of datasets to different periods of time. For example, one might want to know how the hotel was performing STLY compared to Final LY. Were you on target to hit numbers? If not, perhaps you need to adjust your strategy this year. In this case, you would need to compare STLY to My Final LY.
Trust is one of the key principles of Duetto. We want to ensure that you have the ability to report on your data quickly and accurately. As a result, we have spent many hours optimizing our application so that reports and dashboards run faster and pull back the data you need – so you’re always prepared for your next revenue meeting.
Availability: Available to all ScoreBoard customers 9/27
We are changing the way we compute room-type pricing rules so that we add the room-type differentials to the base room rate first, and then apply the segment level discounts.
Here’s a handy visual to illustrate the changes:
Availability: Rolling release starting 9/27, please contact your Customer Success Manager with questions.
We have built out a foundational component of our underlying analytics architecture, called The Orchestrator. The Orchestrator works with our pricing algorithm, the Duetto forecast, and other business-specific use cases (like Group and Extended Stay), to provide a rate recommendation that takes into account what the most efficient mix for your business is.
The Orchestrator also enables the Duetto pricing algorithm to run experiments on recommended rates.
The pricing algorithm will recommend a rate change and, if accepted, be able to assess whether that rate increased profitability, decreased profitability, or resulted in no significant change to profitability by measuring the resulting pickup.
